We are committed to supporting the European Union’s ambitious vision for a climate-resilient and sustainable future.
Our mission is aligned with the EU Strategy on Adaptation to Climate Change (2021) and the European Green Deal (2019), which aim to guide Europe toward becoming climate neutral by 2050. These frameworks respond to the pressing challenges of climate change by promoting innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
As part of this vision, we actively embrace the principles of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our approach supports the creation of a modern, resource-efficient, and competitive economy, one that achieves net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 while ensuring economic growth is decoupled from resource consumption.
To help realize these goals, we are dedicated to advancing measures that significantly reduce CO2 emissions, including:
- A 90% reduction in transport-related greenhouse gas emissions by 2050
- A 55% reduction in emissions from cars by 2030
- A 50% reduction in emissions from vans by 2030
- Zero emissions from all new cars by 2035
